[quote author=“CougarKid”]What would work on the screen? My screen kinda got scratched by my eVo iSkin.  :(

The stuff they’re talking about would be good for the screen.

i dunno about getting rid of scratches, but you can make your ipod have a brushed aluminum back which would hide the scratches….

It’s a wild guess, but could silicone scratch and fill kits for CDs have any effect on these? (I wonder about Armor All too)

I heard Brasso works wonders for fixing scratches.  Look on the iPodlounge forums.  They have a ton of stuff on there for it.

Yeah, I read the same. That supposedly works for scratched screens, which was why I wondered about the other stuff too.

If I can find it, I’ll try the CD stuff on mine, and let ya know what happens.

Yeah, if you google brasso and ipod together, you’ll see some ipodlounge accounts of people using it on the back and front with success.

But wouldn’t it just scratch the screen even more?

Aperantly it does work:

If you have scratches you want to buff out, I recommend using Brasso (the brass polish). It’s available just about everywhere (like your local hardware store). Works wonders on entire surface (front and back, including the screen). Use a soft clean rag and rub a small amount. Buff and then wipe with a clean cloth, and your iPod will look good as new.

Radtech - Ice Creme
https://www.radtech.us/Products/Icecreme.aspx

It’s called Ice Creme, it’s for scratched up iBooks and iPods.  Personally I think it’s a bit expensive, I would rather buy a case.

That stuff is probably 99% the same as brasso and they charge way more for it.  Just go with Brasso and see how it works.  I am going to try it once I get some scratches on mine 😛
