Hmm, this is very odd (and worrisome). Depending on the person who’s delivering, they sometimes leave the package by the door, and other times they do not. Generally, if the carrier’s new or doesn’t know my family very well, he won’t leave it, but if the carrier does know us and the package isn’t too large, he may leave it in a slightly out-of-sight place so that we can see it but it’s hard to notice from the street. To my knowledge, we’ve never had a package stolen from us, but I guess anything’s possible. I’ll have to do a more thorough search of the area around my house just to make sure, but I think that we would have noticed it by now if it were lying there. Out of curiosity, does the carrier you used give you some sort of tracking option on its website? I’d be interested to see what it says with regard to the delivery date/time and anything else it might say about the delivery. Every little bit of info helps.
