But the Slam Dunk portion is weaker than Live ‘05!  😢

The thing is, the dunk contest feels a lot more limited than the one provided in NBA Live 2005, even with the added props and air. While still fun, it doesn’t have the longevity of Live’s contest because you basically jump into the air then flick the Trick Stick a few different directions then finish the dunk. Live’s dunk competition was all about court position, where to jump from, and what combos to press while in the air to link moves together. To slam in Street, you’re just trying to pull off as many moves as you can while in the air, and it’s a lot less satisfying in the long run.

yea thas kinda bad. and the Slam Dunk contest was the only thing good bout Live 05. oh well. ima still get this on the 8th 8)

Well see, since this is the case I will probably buy neither ‘05 nor Vol 3.  I can’t pay $50 for an imperfect product.  I can wait until next year when prices drop, though.  I’m saving for my PSP anyway.  😛

umm im not sure, i will check it out and let u kno. u can make ya own teams tho. create ur own courts, etc.

I want to hear it from a gamer not from IGN ..... I’ll pick it up tommorow and see for myself 😊

the slam dunk contest is aite. its kinda different from Live. cuz u have to do different button combos w/ the trick stick unlike Live. but its ok. i beat the game the other name. took a while. played like 150games. when u beat the game u unlock all the players and courts and stuff.
