so we cant suggest a cool banner or somethign done in photoshop.
Cant we like photoshop a banner and print it out and post it in the mall. It is Christmas time.

have like a piece of paper photoshopped so its Catchy..
have it Say… something like if your stuck of Gift ideas..? Check out this recently released Holiday Catalog..etc etc.
Make sure its vibrant colors…
umm it is Christmas season so posting it by electronic stores would be best and by internet cafes and such since they can go look quickly.
The holiday catalog has just been released and Christmas is near so might as well use it to bring in some users.
What I meant by no photoshopping is not to send in “fake proof”.
For example, dont send me an image of the words “Gear Live” written in the sky by an airplace that you actually just came up with in photoshop.
You can use photoshop to design something that you are going to put somewhere, sure.
But be creative. I’m talking about going to your local Circuit City and bringing up Gear Live on all their PC’s and then taking a picture of it. Or painting it on your chest and walking around the mall with no shirt on.
1. Record yourself saying like “Go to gearlive.com for free electronics…why are you paying for stuff here if you can just go get it for free…blah blah blah”
2. Put it on your ipod and go to a circuit city or some store like that
3. Go the the stereo section and tune all of the radio stations to the same station and then turn on your ipod and use your itrip to play it really loud throughout the store.
4. Walk around the store with the ipod in your pocket so it won’t look to suspicious.
I’m not going to do it but I thought it was a decent idea…

Also i think you should make an offer. Free gearlive-t-shirts. Complete offer and get 1 referal. Have ebay.au. That should cover cost of shirts and have everyone wear the shirts!

i dunno i just want a shirt!!!! lol. I know when i see a site on someones shirt i usually call that guy a fag but go to the site anyways and sometime if its good i stay lol.

Actually I think I will do that. Probably this Thursday at either Best Buy or Circuit City. I’m not sure if I can take pictures of the people b/c that might look a bit suspicious and I might get kicked out. I will however show you pictures of the mp3 playing with an itrip. I don’t know if that’s proof enough but I’d rather not get arrested. My and my friend are gonna have a blast with this.
PS I’m gonna put in something like “Yeah you in the stereo aisle” in it so people will think it’s like god speaking to them. This should be fun!

we could install a money mod on this forum. more we refer to this forum we get money small amount. then when the ref get alot of posts it increases every 1000 or so. the points could go toward dvds and all.

Make thousands of papers that say Gearlive.com over and over and over and walk into some store and throw them EVERYWHERE and hopefully everyone will be nice and oick one up, once they pick it up they will see Gearlive.com and think some weird stuff goes on there if someone just did this and visit it. :D

I’m on vacation this week…I am definately going to do that…but I think Best Buy would work better than circuit city. Actually, I am going to go to a few stores—Thanks for the great idea! :evil:
