I was just curious with all the free offers—they have a 14 day free trial, and after that it only costs $17/mo—has anyone tried this offer out?  I have 3 movies on their way to me right now.  I figure I’ll spend the money and pay for a month.  Worst case senerio I get a few movies to watch, a comfirmed referral, and the free site gets paid.  It’s win-win….so what are your thoughts on the service?

Not to mention the give you 2 coupons a month for in-store rentals, which includes ALL games.  If you use them on games that is nearly the cost of your monthly subscription.

It’s a pretty killer deal, 3 movie’s at a time as fast as you can get um and send um back :D…save a lot of money if you like movies :]
Plus they ship really fast

Oh, one thing I wanted to mention is they have mutliple plans, which allows you to select how many movies you can have out a month—these are perfect for anyone with a *cough* DVD Burner *cough*

Three [3] DVD’s at time for $17.49 per month
Five [5] DVDs at a time for $27.49 per month
Eight [8] DVDs at a time for $37.49 per month

At $4 per in-store rental, once batch of movies pretty much pays for your plan.  If I like this 3 @ a shot offer, I’m going right for the 8 @ a time offer.

I prefer NetFlix over BLockbuster. In my experience Blockbuster took a lot longer to get to me than NetFlix. When I was in NYC, the Distro centers were both in Flushing(Queens) and NetFlix turnaround was 1 day faster than BB. Sometimes 2 days faster. I def prefer NetFlix to BB, but since BB is on just about every Free Site, try it out for 2 weeks. I “watched” over 100 DVD’s since I got NetFlix.  :D :-*

I have Blockbuster and about to cancel it after one month of using it ... their shipping is just plain awefull. Takes way to long to receive.

That sucks man—I placed my 3 movies in my queue 2 days ago, shipped almost immediately, and showed up here first things this morning.

I’m actually extremely impressed with their service.  Sorry to hear their shipping was so bad for you.

I’ve had netflix for over a year now and it is great.  The movies ship in a day or two and if you loose a movie in the mail, they have no problems with it.  The plus with Blockbuster is the in-store rentals though.  I may have to switch over because of that…

You know I was impressed with it @ the begining too…Then after I paid for my first month the shipping slowed down dramatically.  :|  Maybe its the season ... I don’t know. But if for some reason I dont like netflix I’ll just sign up again .  😛
