Just checking to see if anyone would be interested in listening and/or subscribing to (it’s free) a Gear Live PodCast if we started one up.

Thoughts?

So let me get this straight.  It would be for us to download articles to our ipod? And listen to them anywhere? Or read them anywhere?
Either way… I would be interested.

A PodCast is really just an MP3 file when it comes down to it. You would subscribe to the PodCast feed, and it would sync to your iPod and you would have our version of a tech “radio show” to listen to. Or you could just download it manually and put it in iTunes like a regular MP3.

You dont need an iPod unless you want to listen to it on the go. Like I said, its just an MP3 file. You can click on it and listen to it on your PC. Also, it can be loaded onto ANY MP3 player.

I’d probably do it, but I don’t sync that often. I’d probably just download the mp3s and use them on my laptop…

Once I get a laptop, it would be a great idea, because I’d sync more often.

I use my laptop almost exclusively… I bet my desktop is feeling lonely. But I use my laptop everywhere. I’m going on a plane trip in a few days for home, It’d be nice to have some stuff on my iPod that I could listen to. I could download with the laptop and sync to the iPod!

This will be an opportunity to listen to GearLive’s articles… Many people would prefer to listen than read
