I know they act just like a virtual debit card, but do they also include a CCV number? It is the number that would appear on the back of a debit or credit card (3 or 4 digits) that you absolutely need to make any purchases online nowadays.

Paypal’s virtual debit card doesnt have a CCV number, and I can barely use it to buy ANYTHING. Not even a webcertificate.  :|

I am in the exact same situation as you are!  I can’t use that paypal thing for anything!

Whenever I tried to buy a webcertificate, it kept not letting me with it.  I tried about 3 times.  I logged into my PayPal account and low and behold it charged me for it but didn’t send me a webcertificate.  Hopefully I’ll get my money back.

Nice topic!  Very useful for me 😊

Have Pay-Pal send you a real debit card.  I did and it has a number and works great.

I am not even going to get into the Paypal debit card fiasco that they put me through.  :x

Question - Anyone willing to let me send you money via Paypal, and you send me a webcertificate since I have nothing with a CCV number on it?

Why not just buy a web certificate yourself? 😛

Because I dont have a debit card with a CCV number on it, and therefore WebCertificates wont sell me one. My Paypal Virtual debit card is no good since it has no verification number.

To buy a web certificate you have to have that CVC number and the paypal “virtual” debit card doesn’t.  I’d also send someone some money to send me a web certificate.  That’d be great!  Thanks!

Ah, of course. I just noticed it on your original post. I should learn to read the whole post #-O
