I have one in my car and loving it. The quality is lower than a CD, maybe even lower than radio. But, I did find a frequency that has no interference. make sure you turn on the sound check option on your ipod. It will make sure all songs play at the same volume / quality.

I love it, and it beats paying $300 for a cd player 😊

I’ve heard people say it does, but then I hear people say that even though it is a good idea, it doesn’t function really well.  What is y’alls opinion of the iTrip?

My itrip works great around here!

The quality is about the best radiostation that you can get.

You’d be safer with just a cassette adapter. Much cheaper, and you won’t be kicking yourself if itrip turns out to be crap.

how wierd…i was hearing that it was bad in metro areas…are you in NYC or a small place in NY?  I live in TX, but outside a metro area, I was thinking i might be too close to the city or something….

I have the belkin auto kit on my truck and that works Awesome. If you have an aftermarket stero or your stereo can have an aux in then that’s the way to go. It charges your ipod and plays it through your speakers :D 8)

i first thought the iTrip sucked because it was making noises and the volume was really low, all i had to do is lower the volume on my ipod and it worked like a beauty :mischeif:

I have some no-name transmitter, it’s powered by your cig lighter and you can choose any station you want. It worked well in NYC and still does here in Fla.

I use 99.9 as my station btw.

I’m not in NYC, but right outside of it.  It works well. 😊  I used to have an iRiver one, but it only did 4 stations which caused problems, but the iTrip can broadcast on any station.  There is always one station that you can use, city just means more searching for that station. 😊
