OMG When I was in France, I met this Canadian chick (((((((I do not know if she was Quebecoise)))))) who was like, “We say yogo instead of yogurt,” and I was like, OMG…........................................ freak!

I tend to think its just a strange form of an accent representin where you are from. For example there are many spanish speaking countries. But I particualarlly know one country that does the same thing like you guys. And thats Argentina. If anyone else is spanish and has spoke to an argentinian you will notice that the will always say “Che” after a lot of things they say. This is not the whole country but a great part of it. Just like Canada.
In case you were wondering I know this because I lived at a country that was located right next to Argentina. Much like the USA and Canada.

Yeah I agree, it’s just where and how you are raised. Kinda like accents.
