Andru, glad to hear you are ok. Sucks about your car though too. Hopefully it won’t keep you from work and cause more problems. lol someone needs to hurry up with a cars4free site heheh (sorry to joke in a serious thread, but hopefully a smile will help).

As for helping out…it wouldn’t be rude to put up a paypal link if WE demand it 😉. It might not even get much but anything could help. Even if every couple users were to throw in a couple dollars it would help. I mean how many people have gotten or will get a bunch of free crap because of here…no reason they couldn’t give back a buck or two (or more if they have it).

As for the ad link. I already have a month long ad 😉. But I will definitely re-up it when it comes. Or maybe I’ll just add another if you are gonna be stubborn about the paypal thing 😛.

Anyway, take it easy. Stress over what you have to deal with won’t help at all so try not to think about it all.

Hey Andru, sorry to hear about what happeed. But man .. driving w/out insurance?

I got rear ended a couple weeks ago too, and my car was totaled. Luckily I had the minimum possible insurance, which hopefully will cover some of the medical costs .. still waiting for an answer on that ... My insurance won’t cover any of my car damages though ...

MI is a no fault state, so the guy who hit me walked away w/out having to pay anything. I’m still waiting for the police report to see if HE had insurance and get my $500 mini-tort out of his insurance company.

The most important thing is that you’re alright, and go see your doctor, make an appointment as soon as possible and if you can avoid the emergency room.

My wife told me that you should’ve gone to see a doctor immediately, because people have been known to not wake up from their sleep, if they suffered a concussion.  Any head injury should be checked out.  :|

I had my wife wake me every hour, which is something I learned from sports medicine, and went to the doctor the next day. The only reason I didnt go to the ER, is simply because we just couldn’t afford the bill. Especially on top of the $700 ticket, and the $150 towing fee.

Wow, your health insurance doesn’t cover ER?  Or maybe it sounds like it does, based on your experience with your baby, but at a huge deductible cost to you.  :|  F*cking sucks.  I think I have a $35 deductible for ER.  No wonder companies compete for hires based on benefits.

I vote we take out an ad for a paypal account to get Andru a new car.

Seems like it would work, and Andru, it’s not milking it, milking it is I want a new 3000 dollar sound system for my Escalade cos my spinner need something to thump to.

[quote author=“AndruGearLive”]I have no insurance, so I now have a $700 ticket.

No offense, but that was pretty stupid…   It’s because on un-insured motorists such as yourself that the rest of us have to pay higher premiums…  :x

I’ve never been in an accident w/o car ins. before, but have let mine lasp in the past and did get a ticket for driving w/o insurance…. and for not having proof of registration (even though the sticker on my license was current).  The cop behind me profiled me and decided to pull me over when he didn’t find current registration on his computer.

The ticket was $400 plus $250 for not being able to prove I had registered my car.

Regardless, hope you get better, Andru and hope things get worked out for you.  I wish you the best of luck.
