Yeah I just came back.  It was cool.  I made sure I shift that damn red lever hard enuff so it counts.  It was a fun experience.

There was already a bit of a line, at 6:10 AM.  Got a little confused as to which booth I needed to go, since it was district specific.  The people helping seemed to be nice…they were having a few chats.  I had to read the instructions: Shift the big red lever to the right, select your votes, and shift the lever back to the left when done.  They had my signature on file.  Had to sign next to it.

Pretty neat.

7/10

30 minute wait, but I was both KISSED and PUSHED while I waited in line!  My wife got to the poles about 20 minutes sooner than I did and kissed me on the way out.  And about 10 minutes later my ex-wife came around the corner and shoved me!  I got a sticker though, and that helped to make up for the “intimidation”...  😉

I called her “Fugly” and stuck my tongue out in retaliation, that’ll show her!  :D

All joking aside, we get along very well.  In fact her family and mine all went trick-or-treating together again this year.  :o

I’m in Ohio by the way.  HUGE turn out…

As long as there wasn’t any bickering and fighting.  😊  Did you get “challenged” by any Republicans?

My voting experience was fine. I went to a church to vote. 😛 How weird, right? You could tell that everyone was voting for Bush, but then, I *am* in TX after all 😉

I was about to jump somebody if someone mentioned Bush in my presence.

The line at BGSU was 3 hours long…I fortunately got to move up to the head of the line pretty quickly because I live in the Quads and we have our own voting district.

The punch ballot was easier than I thought it would be, but I was so paranoid I was going to punch the wrong one.  I took in my sample ballot and voted straight ticket for the first year ever.  😊  All in all it was pretty good.  Being a college town we had music, and it’s like the voting line was a huge party.  Pretty sweet!

Oh and Hector, I’m in Ohio.  A predicted 87% of students here are voting.  😊
