you are damn right Sweet Jesus.  Go out and vote.  Make yourself count. If you don’t vote then don’t bitch later on if you’re not happy about current affairs.

The sad part is.  I went there this morning (NYC) and I’m pretty much the youngest one there.  Everybody there was either in their 60s or 70s.  Now you may think it’s funny but you know what?  They are voting for the sake of the younger generation.  There’s no reason not to vote if you have the power to.  Illegal immigrants and legal aliens wish they could vote but citizenz with the power to vote undermined their power and right to vote.  That is unless your too young too vote.

Tomorrow is voting time. The problem is, I’m still undecided. This stinks.

you think i’d get anything if i did a classifieds saying “WANT MY VOTE,GIMME SOMETHING!” lol.

in all seriousness, this is tough. i’ll be voting around 2pm central time, so i’ll have some more time to think about this.

If you live in a swing state your vote might matter but if not, than just fill in the blank because the beauty of the electoral college makes your vote worthless.  In all seriousness though, make sure you review whats important to you and make your decision on how the candidates handle that issue.  I know how I’m voting but I knew that right after I voted for Gore and watched the ensueing nightmare.

Anyway, I hope everyone, no matter what your preference, gets out and votes tomorrow. It’s always been my opinion that if you don’t vote you have no right to bitch about current conditions.

ok, i gone done and voted. half the people at the jr. high didn’t think i was there to vote, cuz they thought i was too young. then i started to get upset, and they shot me with a tazer. after i woke up about 5 min later, they sent me to a booth and let me vote. then they gave me a donut for the inconvienence they caused me. i still managed to make it to class on time.

Please explain this to me, since I’m new at all this.  Popular votes (made by us) translate to electoral votes, right?  Why do they even need electoral votes then?  Just use the number from the population?  Either way, they were able to determine that Bush won last time, by a mere 200K?  How did they figure that out, if it’s electorals that count.  I’m confused.

Some Answers:

Whichever party slate wins the most popular votes in the State becomes that State’s Electors-so that, in effect, whichever presidential ticket gets the most popular votes in a State wins all the Electors of that State.
