You know, that’s actually what prompted me to write this up.  Kept a case.

You can make sculptures, like the guy on that commercial did…I can’t remember what the commercial was about, but someone has to have seen it!  He puts them together into a fish shape on his wall…

I have a head full of ideas for these damn CD’s. I wish AOL would send me more.

*Collect thousands and make an artifical reef
***Y?know when you?re driving and some creep right behind you has their brights on? Use the shiny side to send their light right back at them
*They say that there is no intelligent life out there. Glue them to a 4x8 board, grab a xylophone, and start signaling.
*** they make great candle holders

and for the up and coming holidays:

Christmas: Christmas tree ornaments.
Halloween: very obvious be a Disco Ball

Crack them a little bit, and then throw them at people pretending you are a ninja.

I knew someone that was going to cover his entire wall with those CDs. The backs of them, that is. Perhaps it can be used as a home fashion statement…?

There used to be a site that was collecting them and then was going to dump them all in AOL’s parking lot. They had like 1 million of them.  I’ll have to google for the site.

You know, supposely there’s a website on the internet where you can mail in the AOL CD’s you’ve gotten to a company or something.  They are supposed to go to AOL headquarters and dump 1 million CDs right on their front doors to show them how damn annoying it is to be getting AOL junk mail ALL the time.

I’m not sure what the website is, but you can google it.

Well, if the metal side of the aol cd happens to be aluminum and not some other thing like gold, you could peal off the metal…grind it down to a powder, add iron oxide I believe and some magnesium.  Light it and watch your thermite burn through the floor and into the ground.
