Does anyone know you can change it from Atrac to MP3 format? i got this sony connect prog that has the songs in atrac format and wont work for my ipod… help!  :(

You need to burn it to an audio CD using the Sony SonicStage software.  You can get the software from the following link:

www.connect.com

Then just rip the tracks from the CD to MP3 or whatever format you like.  Now realize that they will lose all of the tag info when you do this so it is likely, unless you are doing a full album, that you will need to edit the tag info for each song manually.

not anymore, sony’s made the switch, they’re new player is mp3 compatible. all i gotta say is: about damn time.
