Saddam Hussein was a threat. It’s like… Would you rather be bombed, when you know you could immediately remove the threat?
If the reason we invaded Iraq was to remove the threat of Saddam Hussein a brutal dictator.. then why aren’t we taking the same actions towards North Korea (which actually has wmd’s) and the many other countries that pose actual threats.

All I can say is that I *really* hope we’re overexaggerating with all these Bush predictions :|

Because North Korea isn’t as much of a threat. Actually all of the axis of evil isn’t that much of a threat, don’t let Bush and the rest fool you. Watch the cookie video

haha very informative and cute.. but I’m not so sure that just because they spend drastically less than us on Military that they don’t pose a threat (maybe less of a threat than many think though). It seems as if you’re suggesting that Iraq is more of a threat.. because i’m not sure of that. My point is that if we went into Iraq to get rid of Saddam because of how he treats his people and the threat he poses then why shouldn’t we be in other countries? Countries that also treat their people terribly and actually have the wmd’s we so dread? Not suggesting that we should attack those other nations.. but rather that that’s not the best reason for invading Iraq

Oh I’m sure they’re still a threat, however, I don’t think they’re as much of a threat as the Bush Adminstration is sounding like. (And Iraq is in the Axis of Evil). Personally? I think this is a personal vendetta. This is a “Avenging Daddy” issue, not a true protecting US issue. Yes, I agree that Iraq violated the no fly zone, and perhaps they were planning on going with Clinton, but, I don’t think in any way shape or form should it of gotten to this point in Iraq. They don’t want us over there. The troops don’t want to be over there, and most Americans don’t want us to be over there. So why exactly are we still over there other than Bush way overkilled that country. Unfortunately the way we went in and the crap that was pulled, if we pull out now, the country would colapse. >_<

You know I do have to disagree with you on one thing.. I don’t think that this is all about finishing what his dad started. (Maybe this quest does give President Bush a certain amount of feeling of personal achievement.. but I don’t think that was the motive) I think what happened is they had speculation on Iraq’s position as a threat.. and instead of discovering if this information was founded they rushed into this war unprepared and with little backing from the rest of the world. And instead of recognizing the mistakes made they deceived the American public.

What does it matter now?
He will be president for 4 more years. And there’s nothing that anyone anywhere can do. 😢
But everything happens for a reason. Meanwhile see everyone in Canada. Forget that, its too close. See you in Europe!

except you can’t do that.. if anything we have to be even more resistant. If you don’t agree with something that’s going on.. then you need to contact your representatives. As bad as it is it all comes down to being re-elected and if your reps are supporting something you don’t support.. if enough write them they’ll vote a certain way (in most cases) in order to maintain their support… the problem is that in the senate and house incumbent’s hold a lot of power because they tend to have more name recognition.

The system just doesnt work the way it used to. And now that Senate is run basically by Reps, there really is not much you or me or anyone can do.

Because they’ve got missles from 11 (something like that) different places aimed at South Korea, that could kill millions of people instantly.

Please take in consideration that our goverment cares about their people more than the South Korean goverment does. One nuke could cause an incredible amount of damage here.

No he is not saying that, but that for the US Government that is true. Our government is made to protect its citizens not South Koreas.
