Problem with my iPod?

Hey guys, whenever I go a day or two without using my iPod, when I click a button to turn it on it seems to reset the system. It takes long to boot up and you see the Apple logo and it takes you to the first menu. Is this normal? Thanks.

mine also does this.. it’s a bit annoying but i don’t really know anyway to make it not do that
