Good Charlotte?

How can you make a gretest punk rock CD with them on it?

Dude, go with the Sex Pistols, The Clash, the Ramones!!!

“London Calling!”

“Police on my back!”

“I wanna be sedated!”

Man, I feel sorry for you.

Agreed.  Good Charlette?  Better off with Green Day, and that’s not saying much (althought I do like them).  I was going to suggest “London Calling”...

Fires up Rhapsody, searches for “Police on my Back”, listens…  Not bad.  But I prefer London Calling, Blitzkrieg Bop, I Wanna Be Sedated, God Save The Queen…  But then I’m not a big punk fan anyway.  Although I did dig that British punk TV show The Young Ones.  Remember that?  😊

Yeah, you missed it by at least 15 years.  MTV ran it late at night in the late 1980’s.  It was pretty weird, but funny.

He means Pop punk.  If you want real punk (I guess) listen to Minor Threat, Rites of Spring,.  The Sex Pistols were a manufactured band to make money (much like a ‘punk rock’ boy band).  Those dudes were nuts though… (Their music was pretty good too) But yeah…
If you must listen to pop punk go with older NoFx, Lagwagon, and Fat Wreck Chords bands.  But if you like all that other stuff that I would deem crap, go for it.

my eyes need to be checked.  i think i saw the words punk followed by blink 182, box car racer, and good charlotte.  i would suggest antiflag, minor threat, social distortion, and others.

Why am I not seeing any Ramones or The Clash? The rest of that stuff is corporate punk pop.  Where’s the Bad Religion? Punk is supposed to be defined as having a statement. Blink 182’s only statement is that they like being naked with midgets i.e. they suck balls.

Fugazi is one of my favorite bands, but I think they are kinda hard to get really into if you like bullcrap like Good Charlotte, and Bowling for Soup, etc.

Dude, you can dance to “Police on my back”

Trust me. Download it or something. I had the Essential Clash CD (Which I highly Recommend), but download it, see if you like their style.

You’re a disgrace. :(

Then to give it some legitimacy, put “Rock the Casbah” by the Clash on it.  You can dance to that…  Uhh otherwise don’t call it punk rock… Thats a perversion of it. :D
