come on, some idiotic flash in the pan posters need to be deleted or locked, definitely.  but i see nothing wrong with a discussion soleyl dedicated to minis.  97% of people on the main discussion threads are talking hpods and ipods, or more appropriately, where is my hpod/ipod.  no one wants to sift through this to talk about anything else.  i say let a few narrower topics exist alongside this massive pile of garbage thread that most who don’t read daily won’t check anyways.

btw, feel free to lock this in the next 3 mins.

don’t worry.  if that thread got action for more than a few days it would get locked or deleted in the middle of the night.  i just think its probably a better idea to let a few more-to-the-point discussion of various things through.  i realize that this is not a free ipod board, but like it or not it is the cause of the surge in traffic to the site.  allow people a little more access to talk about it more freely.

the main free ipods thread is mainly full with BS comments/one liners.  That thread needs to be cleaned up badly and offtopic replies deleted.  But it’s not happening because of that OMG THATS SO COOL WE HAVE HUNDREDS OF PAGES attitude.

i totally agree with cowphunk, good point man.  the whole notion of deleting and locking post were made to aviod irrelavant, redundant and stupid post.  a post about ipod minis however is totally relavent.  those ipod disccussion threads have nothing to do with the minis.  infact they are different in any possible ways.  us mini waiters need a place to post about our new findings and frustration about no other than ipod minis.  the ipod disscussion post, nobody cares about mini.  ive been trying to create seperate ipod mini discussion for the longest time.
mods and adminds, there needs to be a seperate ipod mini thread, this way its more efficient and better for us.

The free stuff board is for people to post topics about free stuff they found, not the STATUS of free stuff they expect to receive. If you want a place to talk about it, that is fine with me. The free stuff board is not the place to do it. I am moving this thread to the Lounge.
