Oh gosh, my daddy is like Hugh Hefner. It’s disgusting, LOL—he has a 23 year old girlfriend living with us, and I am 21 =\

I’m not scared of getting older, I just don’t want to be fat, hairy, and lazy when I’m like 40…Bachelor’s Life Baby! I wanna be one of those Hugh Hefner dudes with like 21 year old girls around him 24/7 when I’m that old.  😛

If I ever get to the point where I can’t take care of myself I’m killing myself immediately. My kids try to put me in an old folks home I’ll smack’em and run into traffic. My dad told me that if we ever have to put him in an old folk’s home he wants me to take him to the woods and just let him go. He said he’d fight a bear to the death or something. Needless to say, my family doesn’t care much for living enfeebled.

Personally I’m scared as hell of getting older.

I’m only 23, but when I sit back and think of my future—it’s quite uncertain,  and that’s what scares me about getting older.  I’ve got a decent job, a car, a house—but I’m not truely happy—I’m missing something in my life, and I’m trying to fix that,  but not sure if it’s going to happen or if I’ll spend the rest of my life searching for it—

Things have a funny way of working themselves out, and I’m hoping this holds true for me.

afraid of getting old? nah. its one of those things you can’t stop, so you mind as well go with the flow.

now its definitely strange, making the adjustment. a big thing that sorta slapped me in the forehead and told me “hrm, you aint a teenager no more” was getting a wedding invitation from a good friend from high school. and in this past year, i’ve heard of 4 friends from high school that are geting married. its nuts.

When it rains, it pours.  My wife was in 6 weddings this year.  I’m broke from all the gifts, hair, and dress expenses.

dang, that does get expensive….i had two weddings to go to so far, and that’s enough spending for me.  see, my friends that are getting married now are dumb, why have your wedding while most of us are still in college, and most likely broke? do you really want a blockbuster gift card as a present? lol, jk, i’d never do such a thing,  but you get my point. i’m not getting married til all my friends have passed their bar exam, gotten their phd, mba, or winning lotto numbers.

i feel old, even though I’m not.  I’m 25.

I got a phone call from someone I hadn’t talked to in many many years the other day.  last time I saw him he was probably 10.  Now he is near 20, and asking me for computer advice out of the blue.  It really ages you when you see someone from your childhood all grown up.  I know visiting my sister and seeing her friends from highschool, and them seeing me going, “your a college graduate now?” and them going “ohh god I feel old now”.  I never thought things like that would make you feel old, till they happen to you.

Yeah, but what can you do about it?  I eat right and work out, to hopefully fend off time a bit longer, but we’ll all going to get feeble and die eventually.  :(

I kinda thought that, but I don’t go around asking people about their orientation.

Ages 20-26 were a complete blur (drugs, alcohol).  From 0-20 were pretty good, and 26-30 1/2 have been the best years of my life.  Mainly because I’m not longer wasted all the time, have a successful career, and a great wife / family.  😊
