i have to say, the flip top, big mistake

slot loading is what they shouldve done!

i know my ps2 right now is in my tv stand with no head room because it slides out, that wont be happening if i had to get the flip top PStwo

i think its a big mistake and why they didnt go slot loading i wont understand

also, sucks for the lack of harddrive, say goodbye to any new buyer who wants to get into the new final fantasy game or any downloadable stuff

The miniature version of the PlayStation 2 is set to drop on October 26, alongside Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. The full story is here at Gear Live .

The console will be about 2/3 the size of the PlayStation 2 we all know and love. What do you think?

Hmm, I was just gonna buy a PS2, maybe I’ll put a modchip in my Xbox and wait for the PStwo.  :D

I’ll wait til its official. Cuz then I’ll sell my PS2 and get a PSTwo. Cuz it’ll be cheap, and smaller.

hehe, we minus me you mean

anyhoo

it would be genius for sony to charge $99 for the new system with all the big name games coming out.  remember, you don’t make money on the hardware, you make it on the software and if the software is good, you can get away with charging less for the system

thats just my opinion, it worked for the gamecube

hahaha my newspaper made an article about it and they think its the psp!!! haha they had a picture of the psp and its like released next month… i was like uhh this isnt right.

i was planning to buy a ps2 when grand theft auto SA comes out… but anyways holy shiet that pstwo is fugly… if they are gonna be the same price i would much rather have the ps2.

I think the tray is low tech….complicated mechanism…prone to breaking and breaking off. Sometimes high tech is designing something simple that does exactly what you want and no more.  The lid fits the bill…open…shut..the only moving part is the cover with a hydraulic damped hinge.

why is there still an accessory stand if the ps2 is a flip flop?

i guess it’ll be very easy to carry around but
the design just looks too cheap for me

It has a built in network adapter BUT doesn’t support a hard drive. If it did I’d get one but I’ll stick with the big PS2 for the HD.

I wonder why they got rid of the hard drive? it’s not like this thing is portable. what are people to weak to carry the old ps2 around!! maybe we need a light weight controler too. I’m keeping my old one until they address this problem
