I love it here because it is small.  I get to know people better and it is nice to come in and see people you know posting.  😊

i like not having to deal with newb jerks in the free stuff forum anymore. and fighting with minijigga about politics is pretty entertaining.

Agreed, free stuff is getting out of hand.

even though the lounge is small and quaint, and i’m a pretty decent poster, I still feel like I’m treated as an outsider.

not to mention it brings @ssholes to the forums

yes this site is really a good community becuase i wasnt a kind of person who would post on forums alot but after i got here, im a totally changed man.

yeah i pretty much know the people in the lounge, and I have a lot of name-face associations too…. from the “post your pic” thread.

see.. you aren’t ignored.. you just make good comments that people agree with or don’t know that answers too.  :D

I agree with this sentiment… there is always that awkward stage when you join a new forum and don’t have that many posts yet, and people still don’t know who you are but you try to comment. I remember when I first joined one forum I’m at, the only people I knew where the ones whos posts I constantly saw, and I’d just start posting, and I was dismissed as a newbie. But people came and went, and I broke into the top 10 posters for that particular forum. Soon, I was the one who all the newbies knew (By avatar, mostly, which is why I love spot!). It just takes time. And it sucks that you’ve posted well over 200 times and still aren’t into that clique…

true but once you get pretty known everything is just amazing.
