[quote author=“HectorGearLive”][quote author=“munkyxtc”]yeah, it’s nice that it’s small—I’m a member of a community that has 140,000 members and it’s too much to keep up with. Yuck.
Does that place start with “I” and end with “N” and rhymes with I’m Feeling.
[quote author=“sweet jesus”]i like not having to deal with newb jerks in the free stuff forum anymore. and fighting with minijigga about politics is pretty entertaining.
yes this site is really a good community becuase i wasnt a kind of person who would post on forums alot but after i got here, im a totally changed man.

[quote author=“jncsta2000”]yeah i pretty much know the people in the lounge, and I have a lot of name-face associations too…. from the “post your pic” thread.
yep, that’s the reason I posted that thread—helps you feel more like youo know someone.
[quote author=“jncsta2000”]even though the lounge is small and quaint, and i’m a pretty decent poster, I still feel like I’m treated as an outsider.
I agree with this sentiment… there is always that awkward stage when you join a new forum and don’t have that many posts yet, and people still don’t know who you are but you try to comment. I remember when I first joined one forum I’m at, the only people I knew where the ones whos posts I constantly saw, and I’d just start posting, and I was dismissed as a newbie. But people came and went, and I broke into the top 10 posters for that particular forum. Soon, I was the one who all the newbies knew (By avatar, mostly, which is why I love spot!). It just takes time. And it sucks that you’ve posted well over 200 times and still aren’t into that clique…

I think we give everyone a chance regardless of the amount of posts you have.
