Technically though, in space, objects don’t actually explode [no oxygen], they do the exact opposite—they implode—therefore, there would be no initial force to project ‘sound’, therefore, after the implotion, there is technically plenty of matter, but since the initial action never created anything that resembled a sound wave nothing will bounce off of the imploded item [matter]—keep in mind that space is a giant vaccum therefore if it was possible for matter to implode into itself, it would—
IE—A space shuttle cannot have oxygen in it, because as it pressurized it would collapse into iself.
