yep i find it a little annoying. i know it’s trying to be helpful but i don’t think spelling on the forum is that important cuz we’re all here to hang out and chat or watever not like we’re trying to type up a resume or find protential employment here so spelling is crucial. a cussing blocker or checker might be more useful.
i like it.. but that’s mainly because i turned it off from popping up.. usually my spelling isn’t that bad so I don’t need it to pop up everytime. So if there’s a post where i think i spelt something wrong I can just check it by clicking it.
I personally don’t care one way or another—I think some users will like to have it enabled, whereas most users [myself included] will just disable it in their profile…I didn’t know this arguement was still out there…This should be a non issue IMO
maybe it would make more sense for it to be automatically disabled because i think there are a good amount of people that don’t/didn’t know it could be disabled. And when it is disabled you can still click the link

I use it as a double-checker 😛 Also, I know that you can disable it, so it doesn’t bother me 😛 If I don’t want it, I can turn it off…I think the idea was that the GearLive team was just trying to add an enhancement that (I like, good idea dudes :D) would improve the quality of posts around here…
[quote author=“hmbldtgrl”]I like it.. sometime I get kinda crazy with my spelling… I turned mine off and I use it if I a question something I wrote.. Very nice add on.
