Thank the mods for that—they delete threads which lower post count—I’ve already brought this up to hector and andru that they should create a autoprune forum that is hidden to normal users and just move the threads there—when it’s removed the post count remains.

We now have a prune option. Mods should know to check the mod board for these types of enhancements. 😊

Excellent…glad to hear it’s been implemented hector.
not to burst anyone’s bubble, but I’m almost positive that the prune feature does what it implies: pruning. It doesn’t move the posts, it just deletes them. You can set it to delete threads that haven’t been posted on in “x” amount of days, in whatever areas of the forum you choose. If you want this option, you may have to get some sort of phpbb2 hack or code alteration.
Besides, why would we want the server to be clutter with all these worthless posts that are very old? Eventually, he’ll have to delete the threads from the server, and you’re post count will go down 😛 Sorry, but as someone who has admined a phpbb2 forum before, I’m pretty sure I’m right 😛
EDIT: 2.0.10 is what this forum is running on, my forums are 2.0.8 :| I could definitely be wrong here 😛 But, I don’t think I am 😛

That’s exactly what it does, however, in 2.0.10 it doesn’t lower post counts—I’m not sure about 2.0.8
