I have probably about 500 gigs of music spread over hard drives, cds (both audio and data). Most of this is live shows (I tape them-legally). Mostly phish, some other jam bands. I probably have more than all of you!
6.14 Gigs which is 1273 songs, which is 3.7 days worth of music.
I also have some MP3s that I downlaoded over the years, maybe 2 gigs worth, but alot of em, I have on CD, and alot of em are crappy quality, so Im sure I’ll only be bringing like half a gig of those songs onto my iPod (once I get it)
Now that I’m back at school, expect my music to exponentially increase. But currently I have 17.54 gigs worth of music on one hard drive, and I have yet to sort a few gigs on a third drive that I have in my computer (IDE cable doesn’t reach!!! waiting on newegg to ship my new rounded IDE cables before I can even see what I have on that drive. I forgot, its been sittin in a drawer for the whole summer.)
On my school’s DC++ server that someone runs, I have 93.12 GB shared on my desktop and 6.59 shared on my laptop (movies, music, programs, TV shows). But those aren’t all the files I have, of course!!
I have an entire drive assigned to MP’s, software, anad Videos—between the 3 of them, there is 195GB of inforrmation—about 40% of that is MP3’s, maybe like 75gig or so…pretty much way more than you’ll ever need.
