I think it’s because there just aren’t that many new games, plus they’re just so much more expensive now.  Also, before arcade games used to blow away consoles and now it’s reversed.  😢

I went to an arcade after a date a month ago and had a blast beating my date, little did he know I play arcade games all the time.. hehe.. pure evil of me not to let him will but what can I say… :evil:

only reason I go to the arcade is if my home built ddr pad is acting up again, and I don’t want to open it up to fix it.  well that and to get the oohs and aahhhs out of the little kids.  stupid, but amusing.

very amusing.. I also really like beating the little kids..

well its always fun going in and watching the “supposed hot shot” kid showing up all his friends, and then walking up and saying “can i try it?”  then just totally humiliating him/her by playing max300 and beating it with an AA.

man beating little kids in games are so much fun. Except when their parents get mad at you l;ol.

its too expensive sometimes. If the game has been ported to console, like almost any fighting game out right now, then chances are, people are gonna go to someones house and just play it there. Also, a lot of times, arcade owners don’t care about the arcade, they have broken buttons or sticks on the cabinets, tokens will get jammed, etc. if you can find an arcade where the employees fix it if there’s something wrong, then you’re really lucky.

thats one thing i’ll give my local arcade credit for.  if something broken its turned off, with a sign saying “broken” and they are usually working on fixing it that day, or a day or two later once they get the parts in.

the arcade near me is really nice.. I don’t got there a lot but when I do I have a blast..

when i went to Cedar Point there was this kid who did the whole song perfect. I forget what song though but it was REALLY hard
