If you don’t know who this is, Google Search “Mystical Ninja.” This might be more suitable for a discussion of “Coolest Game”, though. Now that I think about it, it is. Though Goemon is awesome.

If you liked it a lot, you should try finding Mystical Ninja: Starring Goemon for the N64 at GameStop or GameCrazy or something. It’s just as hilarious and good, with an especially awesome soundtrack. But good luck finding it, I’ve heard it’s gotten very rare… or, you could try “aquiring” it on the internet somewhere…

Link kicks ass in all aspects. He fights the bad guys, he rescues the princess, and he has awesome gadgets.
I’d put Kefka from Final Fantasy 6 up there because he was just nuts and his laugh was great.
I’d also throw in:
Megaman
Cloud Strife/Sephiroth
Ness (Earthbound)
Chrono/Serge (Chrono Trigger & Chrono Cross. They get the award for best non-speaking characters)
Delita (Final Fantasy Tactics, Award for most devious mofo out there)

I rented it and while I liked it, nothing beats this game in a 2d side scrolling adventure. The 3D doesnt work for me with this game.
