As far as the time, I’d say about 7 PM Eastern if that’s okay.  I’m so excited about this.  If it works out, I might even do a write up about this whole thing on our front page.  Oh, and anyone else is free to come join us, if you’re reading this.

I just reserved the game yesterday, and I got a free Demo disc for it!  I’m already working on the review for the front page.  It’s going to be sweet.

Do they have any local games-stores near you?  Sometimes you can get them without paying tax, in one place I know.  😉  Maybe used?  You’ve got to get this thing for the first ever GL deathmatch!!

Why the hell isn’t this coming out for the ‘Cube? The first two did, about a month after the PS2/Xbox release… If EA doesn’t eventually release this either for the GCN or for the PC (highly doubtful about that), then I’ll lose all respect for them.

If the company hadnt been purchased by EA, it probably wouldve came out again for the Cube but now we are all missing out on this because EA decided against it.

Sigh.

EDIT:  Acclaim made the game, and as we know, Acclaim said no more GameCube games and now they are filing for bankruptcy so my pity level for them is non-existant

I actually expect them to make it for PC because they made NFSU right? Well maybe thats just because NFS has always been big on PC

I’m not sure. I hope the guy ships it asap.

[quote author=“snakeyes17”]How much did you get it for?

I got it for $134. It was only $11 shipping, as I was browsing alot of them were $20+.

Here’s the description:

[quote author=“Ebay”]You are bidding on a Playstation 2 system (Like New) that comes along with the Network adapter, the network disc, 3 controllers (2 original and 1 imported thrustmaster from Britain (cost 70 dollars and is awesome), a multiplayer adapter that allows for up to 5 people to play, Madden 2004, and a PS 2 memory card.  Also included is the vertical stand for the PS2 which is way more convenient.

All products are in excellent condition and this lot is a great deal to get everything you need for online gaming and more.”

Yeah, that’s why I didn’t just say the price. I think it was a decent deal. Madden 04 isn’t worth much now that 05 is out. Oh well.
