Well, here are some pics of my Sirius (not XM) satellite radio install.  It’s a Clarion PnP tuner, it’s installed in my 88 silverado connected directly to my AUX into my Pioneer (which is actually XM ready…LOL).  I’ve had sat radio since back in May, but I just barely took pics of the installation.  Satellite radio fricken rocks, its a billion times better than crap FM.  There’s just no comparison, sat radio hands down pwns FM/AM.

So what are you guys waiting for?  Go out and get satellite radio 😊

I’ll take some night pics later:

I have a laptop in my car. I watch movies.

But yeah, I guess XM would be cool, I like listening to conservative radio sometimes when I drive to school, and those shows are 3 hours long. I have trouble finding a station all the way across America (especially in podunk Missouri, out in the middle of some field)

Haha, its only when I’m driving to school, and its 8 hours. So I’m on the highway and I get bored. I don’t usually WATCH the dvd, I just sorta have it playing in the background, and I use my casette adapter to play it over the car speakers. Every now and then I’ll glance at it, but its not like i’m WATCHin the whole movie.

Meh.

XM signed Opie & Anthony, so it may be the way to go. (If you have a funny bone)

Opie and who what? And I have to pay extra money for them?  No thanks.  I’ll pass.  If anything, it should be included with the subscription already, not an ‘a la carte’ type thing.

i dunno, i’ve got xm radio at work (my boss paid for it not me) and well, i was hoping for somethign a lil better. i mean, it is commercial free, which is nice, buti’d only listen to about 5 or 6 stations, and half the time, they’re playing songs I don’t like or have even heard before.

The one nice thing, is that they display the name of the song/artist while the song is playing. That can be done on radio also, in dallas, 102.1 the edge has an enhanced signal, so if you have a radio that accepts the full signal, you get the title and song also.
