I need to download some music—What should I download from iTunes? I’m thinking some good 80’s music, but whatever you think, just post here. I’ll be grabbing random selections that strike my interest…
And to top that I’m gonna buy 5 downloads for 5 different people here that suggest songs that I hadn’t even thought about downloading. Sorry, I’d buy everyone songs if I could, but I figure $25 is a decent amount. Free downloads are redeemable in the form of gift certificates for the iTunes store. If you don’t already have your ipod, no worrys, if I select you, just let me know and I’ll order it when it’s received.
I just thought, this idea my be a bad one—I don’t want anyone to have hard feelings if I don’t select you for free downloads—anyone gonna be pissed off about this…be honest.
[quote author=“antman22”]welll, uh, wut kinda music you like? i dont wanna recommend rock if u like classical, lol
I pretty much like all kinds of music…not so much rap & coutry, but everything is fair game—Like I said…I’m looking for ANY suggestions, besides, iTunes has a 30 second preview option, so you can listen before downloading.
WEEN!! You can also head over the the WEENHUB and download FREE live shows. The live shows will also give you a better idea of the general whatever-ness that is WEEN, as it will cover all their albums.
Download “Banditos”, by the Refreshments, or anything by Matchbox 20, or Sister Hazel - “All For You”. You said 80s, but I’m a huge fan of the 90s. I love the 90s.
Other good 90s music:
Smashing Pumpkins
Counting Crows
Barenaked Ladies
Ben Folds Five
Soundgarden
Billy Joel
Blues Traveler
Cake
The Verve Pipe
Third Eye Blind…
If you like covers, try “Me First and the Gimme Gimmes”, they are a cover band. They make good stuff, for example “500 Miles”.
If you want specific songs by these artists, let me know.
