We are talking about Resident Evil Apocalypse, right? The one written by Paul Anderson, the director that couldn’t make a good movie to save his life?
The trailer was horrible, and includes such ‘classics’ as a motorcyle crashing through a church stained glass window in slow motion / multiple camera angles, and some lady attached to a cable running down the side of a sky scraper while it explodes behind her. In slow motion. All to horrid rock music. And lets not forget the geneticly engineered lady with crazy powers and a ‘tude!
Oh, and bullet time effects. Whew, thought they were left out.
In my opinion, this might end up being one of the worst summer movies, perhaps beating my current contender for the title, Alien vs Predator. Guess it doesnt matter who wins, since they were both Paul Anderson’s freak babies.
The new Exorcist might beat them both, though. |

I downloaded a DVDrip of Hero this summer and I was pretty impressed. Even if you don’t like the movie, it’s just beautiful to watch. I liked this story better than Crouching Tiger and I thought the action was equally impressive. |
