You gotta remember this is on a portable system, and it blows away the DS.

Bwahahaha!!!

It’s Nintendo’s own fault.  Here are their excuses for the DS:

It’s “targeted” at a different demographic.  Younger folks.
It’s not as powerful in order to keep costs down.
It’s not the official new Gameboy, but a “third” pillar of business.

BTW, I don’t eve like RR.  :|  The power-slide controls were always hard for me.  I ended up pressing brake while hold gas after a while, way back in the first RR for PS1.  I’m looking forward more to GT4.  Can you imagine LAN multiplayer with incredible graphics?

I see a substantial difference in poly-count and textures.  C’mon you can’t be serious.

If you thought Ridge Racer looked bad take a look at NFSU!

More my type of racing game, never really liked RR of GT.

OMG, do you know how much I am looking forward to this system?!  Those Underground screens look nice, and I think it’s still based on an early build.  I  racing games.  Now imagine these plus Madden/ESPN NFL 2K6?  I have a lot more time to play on my commutes and during lunch than I do home, so this is a god-send.

Not finalized, but the Japan price was the equivalent of $186.  :o
