well, i checked it out and it does work. its kind of cool, i changed my background and got some cool tones for my phone. i have a moterola v180 and in order to do that i would normally have to browse the cingular(my carrier) website through my phone, eat up lots of money and try to download whatever i wanted on their site. that or buy a $30 piece of software and a separate usb cable to connect it with my computer. fairly decent for $3 piece of software. (I did not actually buy it but used the demo, there may be more you can do with the software, but i don’t want to spend the $3, and yes i’m cheap)

If you have a phone compatible with BitPim
Then all you need is a cable to connect your phone to the pc. At its most basic level you can download wallpapers and ringtones into the phone.
