This seems…prohibitive. I agree with Chris—maybe up to $500.

You could get a really nice laptop for that price…

I looked at one of these at Costco yesterday….nice looking, but too expensive. Ipad 2 all the way baby.

Yikes, reviews on the playbook not all that great. Seemed like they had quite the hype a few months ago, faded now with iPad 2 killing it.

I would love one but I am going to have to wait until the price comes down. Might be a while because seems to be holding up, just shows it is a quality product I guess.

The Xoom dropped their price quite a bit since the OP. It just couldn’t compete with the Ipad 2 or Galaxy Tab 10.1
