My parents were not strict, strict, but they were strict. They taught me what was right and wrong and made sure I did my homework on time, etc. They have shaped who I have become and well, without them, would I be wandering off with the people will skipped school daily or something? I don’t know, but they are absolutely loving parents and they do what their kids to succeed and do well in school and everything. There are some views on strictness with children, but in the end, I think allowing the child to see what is right/wrong and disciplining them time to time is quite good and and shapes who the child becomes. Of course, if the parents are too strict, the child might rebel and want to smoke, do drugs and who knows what, but it all depends on the family situation and what the child is thinking in his/her mind and head.
