Watched the shows which is done by Andru?, you can do your own review once you win the Dragon, not to mention that Adobe After Effects should work smoothly on such a powerful notebook.
1- Here is a short movie about the concept, that will WOW you:

2- Here is the 2nd requirement, you should have any green or blue background, it could be a wall, it could be a towel or even a paper.
The 2nd video gives you some guidelines when shooting in front of green/blue screen.

3- Now that’s the most important part, how to do that in Adobe After Effects, watch carefully and keep focused…

4- Now enjoy this video, it gives you some ideas about how you could review this baby…...

Adobe After Effects is indeed easy, the longer you work on it, the faster you will addict and produce amazing stuff with it.
If you have a small background about Adobe Flash or Microsoft Movie Make or Ulead Video Studio, you start Adobe After Effects without any problems.

Well, I didn’t use Sony Vegas studio before, but With my past experience with After Effects, I strongly recommend to use it. It’s enough for me. Not mention that Adobe make excellent integration between all of its successful products.
With a little googling I found this:

That should answer your question… If you don’t want to read it, then After Effects beats Sony Vegas.

No of course, it’s not done by me. But I thought many people wonder how Andru do the show and have a gradient background or a fancy background. I’m not sure what he used to make his shows. But that’s a way to do it. But Adobe After Effects is indeed great tool, I used to do some fun on my holiday videos, but it’s verrrrrry slow to publish the final video as my processor is Pentium D 925 (3Ghz x 2MB Cache x 2) :(
HP HDX Dragon has Intel Core 2 Extreme Processor X9000 (2.80GHz, 6MB L2 Cache, 800MHz FSB) WHICH IS PERFECT!

After Effects does not beat Sony Vegas. It never will.
Good tips, even though I won’t be winning the Dragon. Because of spammers.

You will never convince me After Effects is better than any other editing software. Don’t try.
The replies are just random internetters.

I’m not trying to convince you because to be honest I didn’t try Sony Vegas, But if I would, I will try then! :D
Anyway, Sony Vegas or After Effects both seems to be the only 2 competitors in these field. So I guess both try to compete, for a beginner user it doesn’t matter which better. But for a professional it matters alot because of quality. Since I’m beginner, I don’t care what actually each one can do, I just follow the tutorials and put my ideas to it.
