Iv used the new internet explorer 8 for about a few hours now, and when i first started it seemed just as good as the last few versions. unfortunately- after a while i found many bugs and glitches -VERY NOTICABLE ONES- for one, when i scroll down with my tablet it scrolls back to the top of the page when i stop. 2- when i click in certain places in text input feilds much like this, the cursor will only bring me close, but not where i click- and third, some website functions arent displayed correctly
the button at the bottom of the page to submit posts is so small you can barely click it
as another user said it renders some pages completely wrong
also as i go back to edit some parts of this- i find that when i use the arrow keys to navigate the text sometimes the cursor moves to random places
for the time being im probably going to switch back to ie 7 and firefox until they patch up these problems
i mean the scrolling problem alone is incredibly annoying
So for those who wanted to know how the new versions going, its going well but there are still many bugs in the program

Well, the fact is less with the browser, but the websites themselves.  When the website sees an Internet Explorer browser visiting its site, it automatically spits out the Internet Explorer version of their page.  However, the new version of Internet Explorer 8 supports full CSS rendering (just like Firefox) so until they update their webpages to tell it to display the CSS compliant version instead, you will see major problems viewing your sites.

well the css would explain the rendering problems but i dont think that would be the cause of the scrolling problem and the text problems that i dont experience with ie7 or firefox

Its probably still glitchy for the fact that it is still in beta form. I have Ie7 and I am not gonna upgrade until it is out of beta, I wouldnt recommend beta programs to anyone they are just programs they want people to have so that they can work the bugs out, and then be able to take it out of beta.

Well what can we expect from Microsoft ? They always come up with something buggy when they release it first.I’ll then wait for the retail versiom or will just use the FF.
