These lightweight speakers, by Fashion Nation, are made of 100% recycled materials and they come in a variety of colors and shapes. They fold flat for easy transportation and only cost $15 each. The idea is excellent - however, they should know that sound causes paper-like material to vibrate and vibration is a major factor that could degrade the audio quality. I am skeptical about the performance though. As a conclusion, I suggest using a more sturdy recycled material and reduce the folding gap in order to create a vacuum-like speaker.

Now those are some pretty cool speakers!

But are they fragile? Would I be able to carry them with me?

How is the quality? This may just be something I’m interested in…

Thanks!

Yeah those are cool and the best part is that they are recycled. But the thing is how good is the sound quality? I mean it cant be that good if vibration is gonna interupt the sound. I think I would wait until someone else tried them out before getting those myself and then see how they liked them and then consider it or see for myself by a demo.

That’s awesome, it’s nice to know that some companies are trying to help the environment. I also doubt the audio quality would be good… But it’s only $15 bucks, i’d give it a try…

Yeah the best part with them is not the sound quality but they can be recycled. These type of things are coming but slowly.I can understand that people may not like it because it may not sound great but $15 can be paid considering that they are environment friendly. 😊
