Japan is the most trendy country in the world when it comes to cellphones. If you?ve ever been to Tokyo, you?ll know that cellphone TVs are hot in Japan. It comes as no surprise that the Japanese just recently reached the 20 million milestone. The last million handset was shipped during the month of December 2007.

Japan?s 1-SEG network was launched April 1 2006 and delivers QVGA-quality broadcasts. Same technology as we showcased the Streaming Internet Radio in PSP.

I’m not surprised at all about this, Japan is such a technology-based place and they have some of the weirdest inventions too! 😊 Does North American even have cellphone TV’s?
