Do you take a break in your hectic life to play games online? have you found any good sites? I have a few favorites posted here:

http://www.gamhouse.com
http://www.games2download.com
http://www.gamesgames.com
http://www.mousbreaker.com
http://www.addictinggames.com
http://www.games-mix.com

also, for those that like the old dos games, try these sites:

http://www.abandonia.com
http://www.squakenet.com
http://www.classic-pc-games.com
http://www.download-full-games.com

If you have some that are not listed, please add them to this topic, I would love to check them out. Please note, if they are downloadable games, they must be adware free and spyware free. even if they run for only an hour to test, and then you have to buy, that is fine.

Really nice list at http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic112111.html
Some are even online, and are completely safe, free, and fully featured.
I tried out some myself, and they were pretty enjoyable. Some are abandonware.

@SkyFuser - Thanks for the link.

I also would like to know if anyone remembers an old game called Outpost. You took a ship with supplies (food, energy, colonists, machines) and launched into space because earth was on the brink of overpopulation. I found it on http://www.outpostuniverse.net/outpost1.php , but I couldn’t get it to work properly. If anyone can give me a link to it on another site, I would be grateful. Thanks. Or even if you have a copy of it and want to get rid of it.

Fantastic links, thanks! Addicting Games is my favorite. I love playing Insaniquarium…it is so addicting and I am so mad at my sister for introducing it to me, haha. I can play Insaniquarium for hours and hours and hours. For people who don’t know what Insaniquarium is…all you do is feed fish and fight aliens. 😛

According to the site, you are to download the file, then extract it, then burn it to disc as a *.ISO file. I get as far as burning it, and then my burner makes a frisbee, and I really don’t want to go through a whole spindle of cd’s just for one game. I even tried a virtual cd burner and it made my external HD crash.

Makes a frisbee? The game shouldn’t take that much space it’s less than 200MB rar-ed, CDs can hold 700MB. And are you sure the file you’re burning is ISO, and not anything else? Try a different C burning program too.
If that doesn’t work, try mounting it with a CD drive emulator. It should work.

Thanks for the tip, and yes it is ISO. i reread the directions several times to be sure i was doing it right. and the emulator i tried was DaemonLite. i can try again, but i had a hard time getting my External HD back online, so I’m wary of doing it again any time soon.

Hmmm. Try a better burner like ImgBurn.
Daemon is bloat…

Yahoo Games should definitely be added too! I can’t believe I forgot about Yahoo Games! They were the first few games I played on the internet and well, my friend and I use to love playing Yahoo Pool for hours and hours. Definitely lots of games to check out on Yahoo and will definitely keep you occupied when you are bored.
