Is it worth purchasing the higher package, and how does that work exactly? Do they bring some thing out to boost the speed, or just give you more band width? I’m not even sure if band width has any thing to do with speed.
They simply allow you more upstream. My provider has only the one package, but they are a lot more generous on upstream. A lot of major providers are very stingy on upstream bandwidth.
That is a big difference. I wish that my speeds were better then that. I did talk to my cable provider, about issues with our DVR, and they found that some thing with the speed wasn’t right. He said that in a few days it would be taken care of. That was in the middle of the week, but I still haven’t seen any improvement.
