Hi all,
I got a ps3, its both good and bad..
Good
Very nice build quality
very quiet compared to the 360
Blu ray is awesome (yes I have a hd tv)
resistance is sweet
bad
Not everyone has a headset.
where are the games…
things to look forward to.
Little big planet
Heavenly sword
lair
Mercs 2
MGS4 (may not be out this year)
You forgot to add under Bad:
Crappy on-line service
wonky possessed bluetooth controllers
no vibration (yet)
no IR port so you can’t use a universal remote for your Blu-Ray
stupid wallet system in the on-line store
and under good:
good USB device support
Store uses $ instead of points
built in hard drive in every system so devs can utilize the hell out of it (when there are some games)
crappy online service —- bit harsh its not too bad ,its free and will improve over time.
my bluetooth controller has no issues.
i see your point about the ir port that is a bit odd
i think the wallet isnt that bad at least i dont have to buy top up cards
thanks for the input.
do you have a ps3?
maybe get some resistance going , it better than halo3 beta..imho
Ya, I have the PS3, hence my harsh criticism especially of the wonky controllers and the on-line service (sorry, Live has spoiled me, its better than the Wii however).
I own 1 game on my PS3 and its Resistance. I find the single player of resistance to be mediochre, the multiplayer was a lot of fun, but missing rumble to me. I like that tacticle sensation when I take a hit with a vibration controller. The lack of good and consistent voice communication in Resistance (or the Ps3 in general) annoys me to no end, but, I do think the big multiplayer battles are fun, the weapons are cool, and the party system and ranking system is rather nice.
