I haven’t gotten Crackdown yet. I’m a bit strapped for cash at the moment. Not sure if I’ll get it before the Halo 3 beta. Damn!! I’m guessing that this must be some really cool DLC if your shouting about it on the WWWeb.
The free dlc is great.I was playing it till 3 in the morning the other night.Also its cool the way you can test the content you buy for it by joining someone who has it.
I thought is was good except for the part where you cant use half of the stuff you unlock with out purchasing it first, and I really don’t want to purchase any of the weapons, because I know that my play life for this game is soon going to come to an end with all the new games coming out this year. But yeah god mode awesome.
Oh, I agree. Crackdown must be played with a friend to bring out its full potential. But I guess thats pretty much any online game. Gawd I cant wait for Wednesday to get here. I hope some of you will still want to play by then 😜
I really was a fan of the Crackdown content, but I haven’t gotten to play with it nearly as much as I’d like to (that’s what Halo 3 and LOTRO will do to you). But it was very nice to see a dual release of free and premium content, all of which were great additions. The harpoon gun is so awesome.
As I mentioned in the news story, you can try the content out with someone online, even if you don’t own it—achievements included. So if anybody wants to try it, just hit me up on Live.
Loving the DLC ... I don’t think much of the new weapons other than the Harpoon, but the peacekeeper vehicles rock my world… the APC makes it crazy-easy to max out driving in certain areas.
