So, with the news that Ken Kutaragi will be retiring. Do you believe that he is retiring, or is his head rolling? With all the bad, bad, BAD press from all of the poop filled mouth comments, I get the feeling that he was told he was not needed. He was not the only one to miss step, and have their comments posted all over the place. Do you think that there will be others to leave the company in the near future?

Not to say anything bad about Sony…wait no…to totally say something bad about Sony, I will be very surprised if Sony’s gaming department is able to pick its self back up after this round of the consul wars, let alone just loose a few members of the company.

This isn’t much of a surprise—his “promotion” to Chairman was essentially a signal that his time was coming to an end. I don’t see it having a significant impact in the short-term; we won’t know what sort of effect this will have until the next console cycle.
