Actually, it is VERY difficult, and the script is not yet done for transferring data.
The new forum is tied in to the main Gear Live database. This means that whatever username you log in to on the blog to leave comments is the same name you would use on the new forums. Once the database conversion script is done, it will import everything into the new board.
When I get an email notification of someone posting I get linked directly to the new post, on the new board it only links to the thread. This will get super annoying if there are like 10 pages of posts. Is this something we can enable or fix?

Anchor tags have to be included within every post. Most likely going to have to be put by the people in a new release of ee.

enable Avatar linking… it’s getting annoying (yeah, i kno9w, it’ll be done by launch time)
is there a way in EE to have each user choose their own theme? i hate to admit, but orange isn’t my style :oops: (i like pastels… easier, err, EEsier, on the eyes)

You can’t use the same login and password as here. You have to use the account you made onwww.gearlive.com if you have one. If you don’t I think you will have to register again.
