since no one really posts here and i cant believe no one has posted this yet… the NHL will be back in business this coming season after having no season this past year becuase of the CBA between the league and the players association. the players association was becoming very greedy and campaigning for higher and higher exorbitant salaries for the players. And im glad to report that in these negotiations, the league has struck down the players association. There will now be a salary cap - which is good for the league.. the only other pro sports league that has one is the NFL. To bring fans back many teams are offering 10 dollar tickets and good promotions. The rules are also to be changed to make the sport more exciting. The goals will be made larger, the goalies will NEED to have smaller pads so they dont monopolize the goal, and lines may be moved so that offsides is not called as often and there are more chances for players to score. If you are a hockey fan like i am, enjoy.. if you aren’t .. go to a game and see this great game being reborn into a new era with great new ideas and players. thanks. =)
