I just came across a special video that plays on your psp and fixes the dead pixels you have.

its not gauranteed to work, but it works 85% of the time.

when you download it, just unpack it, and upload it to your psp just like you would with any movie.

I tried this myself just now, and i had 2 dead pixels in the middle of my screen, and played this video for like a minute, and now they’re gone :o

btw, if you can signup for mp3players4free, then please contact me

tell me how this works for you.

I bet you GameZilla didn’t even try it. He wants someone to test it out first before he does, so it won’t ‘Mess Up’ his PSP

This only works for dead pixels that are not physically stuck or are dust particles on the faceplate that look like dead pixels.  A good way to identify a dead pixel is when a pixel is lit up a specific color regardless of whats happening on every other part of the screen.

If it’s black, it could be just a stuck pixel or dust below the faceplate that’s caused due to manufacturing.

Here is the pic of the dead pixels I have on my PSP.  I can hardly notice them when I play a game or watch a movie, so it hardly bothers me.
(I changed the date to last month so the backround would show the dead pixels better).

I tried the dead pixel remover 3 times and it didn’t fix any of them.  It doesn’t really matter, I wasn’t expecting it to help much and my PSP is fine anyways.
