Does anyone know of anyway I could hooke up a flash drive or even my iPod to the PSP using that little USB port on the top.

just bought my PSP and when I plug in the headset a little the sound comes through the headphones for a sec but when I fully push it in no sound comes out. whats wrong?

Faulty unit most likely ... make sure its all the way in there.  😛
