I always wanted an mp3player, but now that i can get one i dont know which to pick or anything about them. I just got approved for mp3players4free and can place an order. But i dont know which to pick, can anyone list the pros and cons or both. I heard iriver can play movies and i heard the battery on the ipod sucks. I like how u can put images on the iriver. I have read the other threads but they have almost no replies.

I saw the iriver, but i felt the skin was ugly with the checkered. I also know that ipod is very popluar. Please sum1 list the good and bad or give me a website explaining it all. Thanks in advance. I want some replies cause i might place my tonight or 2morrow :think:

does all the songs from the ipod have to be from itunes. Because i have some songs on my computer. I didnt get those from illegal shareware thought. Please answer anything u can about iriver or ipod or speak an opinon

the ipod is sleaker and more nice looking but i would get the iriver. It plays mroe file formats and its better.

iriver. If you want easy UI and navigation get the ipod, if you want superb sound quality and complexity, an iriver.

Where is this sound quality thing coming from.  The iPod has great sound quality, it’s all about the encoding of the music, and your headphones. The last time I asked this I got a list of the quality of MP3 encoders, but you can use anything to encode the MP3s for the iPod.

well i have an h320. its not complex at all. sound quality blows away ipods. with a firmware upgrade you can play VIDEOS on it. they can be full legnth.
overall, ipod is just an overprices player. check this out for all the iriver customization possible.
