This is a great Brazilian movie about the gang, crime, and drug underworld in the “City of God,” Rio de Janeiro. It’s, as some people say, a mix of Lord of the Flies and The Godfather. Read about it from that link, if you’re interested. It’s IMDB’s #29 movie of all time, and has a Fresh Rating of 93% at Rotten Tomatoes.

I give it a 9.5/10

i heard this movie was great. it was just one i never got around to seeing. i guess i’ll go rent it sometime…unless its still in theaters.
